Now that our "season" has ended many of the top golf courses scale back their rates due to fewer vacationers and seasonal residents. April 1st marks some of the best times to play golf in Naples, Florida because of a great mix between low green fees and great weather. If you are currently a member of country club in Naples, it also opens up a fantastic selection of reciprical courses that trade with one another during the summer. For example, a member of Mediterra can have their golf pro call Grey Oaks and get a tee time if available during season, but the cost is quite high($200+), but out of season the reciprical rates become quite appealing in the $50 dollar/round range and easy access to tee times.. Another insider note, is that developers like WCI have some wonderful private golf clubs that will allow some public play.. The Colony at Pelican Landing and Tuscany Reserve are beautiful private courses and many don't know that they'll allow some public play if you're willing to pay!
